Caveat: Poem #2662 “Leaving”

ㅁ
There were leaves racing along the road,
flung around by the passing cars.
They seemed to be sentient.
Which is to say, panicked,
suffering, fearful,
fleeing traffic,
jumping down
ditchward,
hurt.

– a nonnet.
