ㅁ Kiamon knew in the tomb of her heart: All was a dream and she'd wake with a start Trapped deep inside some philosopher's cave. Meanwhile, she wept at her grandmother's grave.

Caveat: Tree #667
Caveat: Poem #1567 “Twenty-seventh stanza”
ㅁ Kiamon watched as the sun tasted sky. Clouds were flushed gold and she thought she would die. Gusts licked the dawn and the trees failed to show. Angels cavorted across the fresh snow.
Caveat: Tree #666
This out-of-focus tree saw a landslide.
This is a numerologist’s nightmare: tree #666 on Friday the 13th! You might imagine this tree as a protagonist in a very slow-moving horror movie.

ㅁ Kiamon's mouth was all flavored with dust: tasting like stones and small hintings of rust. These were the nerves that she felt at that time: facing her fears, among trees clothed in rime.

Caveat: Tree #661
This tree experienced a lot of snow. I took this picture in rural Yeonggwang County, Jeollanam Province, South Korea, while living there in December, 2010. Sometimes I miss Korea quite yearningly, deep in my soul.

Caveat: Tree #654
This tree witnessed my efforts to divert some of the water that was flowing along the uphill side of the road across the road, using small dikes of gravel.
That was to prevent the “main” culvert from overflowing at the head of our driveway, because once that happens, our driveway begins to erode quickly. We have received 4 inches of rain in 36 hours. It’s still raining. The road to town is closed again, as of last night.
Here is the main culvert, not-quite-full.
