This tree witnessed my efforts to divert some of the water that was flowing along the uphill side of the road across the road, using small dikes of gravel.
That was to prevent the “main” culvert from overflowing at the head of our driveway, because once that happens, our driveway begins to erode quickly. We have received 4 inches of rain in 36 hours. It’s still raining. The road to town is closed again, as of last night.
