The monkey meme continues to spread like wildfire through the fifth grade. Yesterday I had students announcing to me:
- 1) “I’m a crazy monkey girl!”;
- 2) “I’m a zombie monkey! Uh! Ohhh!”;
- 3) “I’m a lovely [by which I think she meant loving or kind] monkey!”;
- 4) “I’m a happy monkey!”
